These terms and conditions apply to all visits to and use of the website located at www.interfaithdisability.org (the “website”), as well as to the content, information, recommendations and services provided to you on or through the website whether you are a “Visitor” (i.e. you simply browse the website) or you are accessing as a “Member” (i.e. you have registered with the website). By accessing this website, you are indicating that you have read, acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (also referred to as an “agreement” here). Your agreement, shown by accessing and using this website, is as legally binding as if you signed a written document. If you do not agree to all these terms and conditions, do not access this website.  If you wish to become a Member and access and participate on the website as a Member, you must indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions during the registration process.

The Interfaith Disability Connection (IDC) website is an online information and communication service provided by Interfaith Disability Connection and Bobby Dodd Institute. You understand that, except for information, products, or services clearly identified as being supplied by IDC, we do not operate, control, or endorse any products, services, or information on the website or Internet in any way.  Content (as defined below) published or posted by Members or Visitors is solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the Content.  IDC may review Content submitted by Members and Visitors prior to posting on the website and that Content does not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of IDC.  IDC shall have the right, but no obligation, to monitor Content of the website provided by third parties to determine compliance with these terms and conditions or any other operating rules established by IDC for this website or to determine compliance with any laws, regulations, or authorized government request. 

This website contains hyperlinks to websites owned or operated by parties other than IDC (“Linked Sites”).  Links to Linked Sites are for your convenience only.  IDC is not responsible for examining or evaluating, and does not warrant the content or privacy policies or the security of those Linked Sites.

Use of Service
You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of the service, website and the Internet.  IDC cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that files available for downloading through the website will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy your particular requirements for accuracy of data input and output, and for maintaining a means external to the website for the reconstruction of any lost data.

Authorized Access
Some areas of this website can only be properly accessed by Members and BDI employees. Only Members, prospective Members, and employees may enter passwords and identification data at restricted pages, or view any information normally and properly accessed via those pages of the website.  You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, or computer systems or networks connected to the website, through hacking, password or data mining, or any other means to circumvent security procedure.

Passwords
If you register to become a Member, you will be asked to create a user ID and choose a password.  You are responsible for keeping your password and user ID secret and confidential.  You agree that you are solely responsible for all uses of the website that are made using your password and user ID, including, but not limited to, the submission and posting of any Content. 

Non-Commercial Use of Website and Copyrights
The website and services provided on the website are for the personal, informational, and non-commercial use of Visitors and Members and may not be used, displayed, reproduced or distributed for any commercial use, except as expressly approved in writing by IDC in each instance.   All of the content featured or displayed on the website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, photographs, images, moving images, video, illustrations and software ("Content") is owned by IDC, or its parent or affiliate entities, its Members, its licensors or its content providers. 

You may view, copy and print individual pages from the website (provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on those pages).   Except for this limited license, IDC does not convey to you any right or interest in the website, Content or information available through the website or software application by permitting you to access the website.  You may not modify any Content posted on the website and you may not distribute, transmit, display, publish, license, create derivative works from or sell any Content.

User Content
By displaying, publishing or posting comments, text, images, photos, or other content, directly or indirectly, on or through the website (collectively, “Your Content”), you hereby grant to IDC, its parent and affiliate entities and those acting at their direction, a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license and right to use, publish, edit, reproduce, publicly perform, display, store, distribute and create derivative works based upon Your Content for any commercial and non-commercial purposes in any media, now known or hereafter created, as IDC may determine, in its sole discretion, without the need for any acknowledgment or compensation. 

By submitting Your Content, you consent to the posting by IDC of Your Content on the website.  You acknowledge that as part of the website, Your Content may be viewed by others, and, therefore, you have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality with respect to Your Content and your name (as applicable).  You further acknowledge that Your Content and name (as applicable) as made available via the website may be accessed, viewed, printed and downloaded by others. You should therefore consider Your Content to be public information and you should not submit any confidential or proprietary information to the website.  By submitting Your Content, you expressly permit IDC to allow other Visitors and Members to access, view, print, download, store, and reproduce Your Content as it is made available on the website. 

IDC only acts as a passive conduit for the distribution of Content provided by Visitors and Members and is not responsible or liable for any of the Content, communications and other materials generated by you or any other Visitors and Members to the website.

Posted Content and Prohibited Activity
You are prohibited from using the website to post or transmit any Content which is or may be infringing, threatening, false, misleading, inflammatory, libelous, defamatory, invasive of privacy, obscene, vulgar, profane, pornographic, harassing, abusive, discriminating, illegal or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or that may otherwise give rise to civil liability or violate any law.  You are further prohibited from using the website to post or transmit any Content that could damage or disparage IDC or any of its affiliate entities in any manner. 

You may not use the website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website or any service we provide or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the website or any service we provide.  You agree that any information you provide to us through the website will be correct and complete.  In addition to those activities otherwise provided in these terms and conditions, the following is a partial list of the kind of Content and activity that you are prohibited to post or otherwise engage in during your use of the website. 

• Do not use the account, user ID, password, or personal information of another Member, or disclose your or another Member’s user ID or password to others.
   
• Do not transmit any “junk mail,” “chain letters,” or unsolicited mass mailing or “spamming” in connection with the website.
   
• Do not use any robot, spider, search/retrieval application or automatic device to retrieve, index “data mine” or reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the website or Content or circumvent any data protection measures.
   
• Do not “frame” or “mirror” any part of the website.
   
• Do not impersonate another person, user or any IDC staff, employee, or representative.  Do not imply that any statements you make are endorsed by IDC.

No False Information
You shall not provide any false information in connection with the use of this website. Also, you agree to update or correct any information which you have provided if such information becomes outdated or misleading. You must use the website consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

Site Misuse
IDC reserves the right, but has no obligation, to reject, refuse to post or remove any posting or Content, to suspend or terminate Member accounts or user IDs, to prohibit access to the website, and to take technical and legal steps to keep Members off the website if we think that they are creating problems, possible legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these terms and conditions or our policies. If you believe in good faith that any content posted on this website infringes your rights, please contact us by sending an e-mail to the attention of Mark Crenshaw at idc@bobbydodd.org .  You must be able to identify the specific content and provide necessary information for us to evaluate your request.  Please note that any decision to remove content from the website is at IDC’s discretion.

Member Disputes
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Members and Visitors on the website.  IDC reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor or mediate disputes between you and any other Members or Visitors. 

Information Not Guaranteed to be Reliable
The information and materials on the website may contain errors or inaccuracies, including both typographical and substantive errors. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, without any obligation and without any notice requirement, to discontinue, change, improve or correct the information, materials and descriptions on the website and to suspend or deny access to the website for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, upgrades, improvements or corrections. Any dated information is published as of its date only, and we have no responsibility to update or amend any such information.

Termination
We may terminate your access to the website or any part of it at any time with or without notice, in our sole discretion.
